Jason Higgins joined GLIFWC's enforcement team in 2020, focusing on community oriented policing and engaging the youth around the Getegitigaaning and Watersmeet communities. He served in the US Navy for five years and attended Nicolet College in Rhinelander, planning to finish his bachelors degree in Spring 2025. Higgins brings many professional qualifications to his role, including being a CPR/First Aid instructor, a rescue diver, and a lifeguard. When not working, Higgins enjoys fishing, hiking, black smithing, and woodworking.
