Stephen Ante

Stephen Ante was born and raised in the Ashland area and currently resides in Washburn, WI. Ante is a Red Cliff tribal member from my father's side of the family. Before joining GLIFWC, Ante worked in the food service industry in what is commonly referred to as "the back of the house." He got his start at GLIFWC as an LTE working on the Mino Wiisinidaa Let's Eat Good cookbook grant in the Planning and Development division.  During this time, Ante obtained an associate's degree in business management from Northwood Technical College. After the Mino Wiisinidaa project, he transferred to the Enforcement division as an FTE as an administrative assistant. Ante became the Contract Compliance Administrator for the Enforcement Division in 2018. He enjoys film, gathering edible plants, and spending time with friends and family.
