Make sure to check the Treaty Camping & Access booklet for more information. You are responsible for knowing your Tribe's regulations, which can be more restrictive and are subject to change.
Check with your Tribe or GLIFWC with questions.
You must possess a valid off-reservation camping permit for camping in a National Forest campground. Your tribal conservation department (or other tribally-designated authority) can issue camping permits. Camping permits can also be obtained through the NAGFA online self-permitting system. glifwc.nagfa.net/online/
Reserving Fee-Exempt Campsites:
- To reserve a campsite, visit www.recreation.gov, create a free account, and search for the reservable site you are interested in (you may not reserve non-reservable sites).

- Select the dates you wish to camp and select "Add to Cart."
- Make sure that all of your information is entered and correct.
- Click "Apply a Pass Discount" and select "Add a Pass Discount" and under "Pass Type" select "Tribal Fee Waiver" and enter your Tribe of enrollment.
Members may be required to present their GLIFWC camping permit at the campground but should not be required to present their Tribal ID.
Once the reservation has been made and you arrive at the campground, fill out the fee envelope as shown in the "Instructions for filling out Forest Service campground fee envelopes," linked at the bottom of this page.

You must dispose of all garbage by either removing it from the area or by placing it in the proper receptacles.
You may not act carelessly or intentionally cause an uncontrollable fire.
You may not leave camping equipment unattended for more than 24 hrs. without permission of the campground official.
You may not use a campsite with more than the number of people or vehicles allowed.
