Since 1984, we've printed and distributed the Mazina'igan (talking paper). The Maz is a thoughtful, authentic, and timely publication that covers our tribal members' interests, initiatives, challenges, and successes. The paper is distributed seasonally (quarterly) and features a kids page, Ceded Territory Science, Anishinaabe Insights, news briefs, cultural programming, and more.
Please note we don't run letters to the editor or advertisements. Subscriptions to the Maz are always free, and readers can request a copy mailed right to their door, classroom, or receive the paper online.
