Are you interested in teaching others in your community to preserve the traditional practice of harvesting and processing maple sap?

If you're at least 18 years old and have less than five years of maple sap harvesting and processing experience, you're eligible to apply!

Selected applicants will partner with GLIFWC Anishinaabe-zhiiwaagamizigan Project staff, community program leaders, and elder mentors to learn the fundamentals of both traditional and modern sap harvesting and processing. In addition, selected participants will be supplied with sap harvesting and processing equipment, instruction on equipment use and maintenance, food safety training, and much more!
