Conservation education

Over four wintry days, 40 natural resources students and professionals gathered to discuss careers in conservation at Lowenwood near Land O’Lakes, Wis. Organized by UW-Oshkosh Student Environmental Action Coalition and Wisconsin GreenFire, the Annual Wisconsin Conservation Retreat promoted skill building and provided college students a space to learn and build relationships with conservation professionals working in the field. The retreat also offered participants an opportunity to earn their certification in Project WILD through the Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies.
