Mikwendaagoziwag - Sandy Lake Memorial
Opening ceremony begins at 9 am at the Savanna Portage State Park boat landing on the east side of Big Sandy Lake. Then, a 4-mile paddle across the lake to the Army Corps of Engineers Sandy Lake Recreational Area on the northwest corner. Feast and ceremony to follow.
